We will randomly assign patients in a 1:1 ratio to intravenous rFVIIa or placebo at a dose of 80 micro-g/kg (maximum 10,000 micro-g or 10 mg) and administered intravenously over 2 minutes. All investigators and patients will be blinded throughout the course of the study. |

Primary efficacy outcome: ordinal modified Rankin Scale (mRS) at 180 days: 0-2, 3, and 4-6 |
||
The ordinal mRS (all seven steps), utility-weighted Rankin Score, mRS of 0-2, and EQ-5D at 90 days and 180 days; change in the volume of intracerebral hemorrhage and (intracerebral hemorrhage + intraventricular hemorrhage) between baseline CT and 24 hour CT; mortality at 180days and mRS of 5-6 at 180 days. |
