Feb. 13, 2020

36

Two of the 40 assigned subjects (1 in the double dose group and 1 in the non-dose group) disagreed, and 38 (test article group; 14 subjects, double dose group; 12 subjects, non-ingestion group; 12 subjects) started the test.

Two people (test article group; 2 subjects) stopped the test due to their own circumstances (work convenience; 2 subjects), and 36 people (12 subjects in each group) completed the test.

Adult males with weakened muscles and sexual ability and adult males with metabolic syndrome (both 59 years old or younger) continued to take Fenugreek seed extract-containing processed food "Testfen 18000" for 4 weeks. The AMS score decreased significantly in both the group and the double dose group. There were no significant changes in testosterone levels. A significant decrease was observed in comparison with the non-ingestion group, suggesting an effect on moderate LOH syndrome in AMS score. In addition, there was no significant difference in the amount of change between the test article group and the double dose group, and it was considered that ingestion of a certain amount or more had no effect on the effect.

Adult males continued to ingest processed foods containing fenugreek seed extract for 4 weeks, resulting in a significant decrease in AMS score. There was a significant decrease in comparison with the non-ingestion group. As a result, it was suggested that test product was effective for people with moderate LOH syndrome.
