The healthy subject who agreed to participation in response to explanation of this study 18 years or older. Other eligibility criteria were that communication did not have a problem. Furthermore, it was assumed that oral intake was possible. The real participant was a female college student to have been obtained cooperation of the participation. A participant was women, and the age was 20-22 years old. |
The participation in study request was treated with a study briefing session for 113 female college students. As a result, an agreement of the participation was obtained 23 people. When the subjects do not see and hear VR, they presented with a positive correlation in a taste and feeling hungry (rs = 0.486, p = 0.041). However, when the subjects see and hear VR, they became unrelated to a taste and feeling hungry (rs = 0.122, p = 0.629), instead a positive correlation was found in a feeling of devotion of the VR seeing and hearing (rs = 0.485, p = 0.041). Furthermore, when the subjects see and hear VR, as for the taste, a negative correlation was thought to be negative mood of the POMS2. Whereas, the subjective impression with the VR seeing and hearing had the poor opinion that the animation was worn-out because a screen continued working. |
This study gropes for direction to make an appetite using VR increased. Furthermore, we observe it whether a virtual space influences a feeling of devotion, emotional condition and an appetite. As a result, the taste is affected by feeling hungry. Whereas, the residents of the nursing facility might be affected by a taste by seeing and hearing VR which had a family celebrate it. It suggested the possibility that the negative mood by the eating alone weakened. |
