| 【第一研究】 職員は、本研究への参加について施設長の同意が得られた高齢者施設に勤務し、業務として直接的に認知症ケアに携わっている者とする。利用者は、当該高齢者施設を利用しており、認知症の行動・心理症状（BPSD）を示し、施設側が対応の改善を検討している者とする。なお、高齢者施設とは、BPSDを示す利用者が存在し、その対応に苦慮している、または現在の対応を見直したいと考えている施設を指す。 【第二研究（予備研究）】 動画教材および確認問題の内容を評価することを目的として、次のいずれかに該当する者を対象とする。 ・高齢者施設に勤務し、業務として認知症ケアに携わっている職員 ・高齢者臨床に携わっている心理士 ・動画教材の理論的基盤となる応用行動分析学に関する知識を有する心理士 【第二研究（本研究）】 本研究への参加について施設長の同意が得られた高齢者施設に勤務し、行動コンサルテーションの対象となるユニットに所属する職員を対象とする。具体的には、行動コンサルテーション手順の第3段階において、介入計画の内容共有に関与するリーダー職員および当該ユニットに所属する介護職員とする。 |
[Study 1] Staff members who work at long-term care facilities for which the facility director has provided consent for participation in this study and who are directly involved in dementia care as part of their routine duties will be eligible. Participants with dementia will be eligible if they reside in the participating long-term care facility, exhibit behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), and are identified by the facility as requiring improvement in care. Long-term care facilities are defined as facilities that have residents with BPSD and are experiencing difficulties in managing these symptoms or are seeking to improve their current care practices. [Study 2 (Pilot Study)] To evaluate the content of the educational video materials and comprehension questions, the following individuals will be eligible: Staff members working at long-term care facilities who are engaged in dementia care; Psychologists involved in clinical practice with older adults; Psychologists with knowledge of applied behavior analysis, which forms the theoretical basis of the educational materials. [Study 2 (Main Study)] Staff members working at long-term care facilities for which the facility director has provided consent for participation in this study and who belong to the unit targeted for behavioral consultation will be eligible. Specifically, eligible participants will include unit leaders and care staff involved in sharing the intervention plan during Step 3 of the behavioral consultation procedure. |

| 【第一研究】 職員は、施設長から研究参加の同意が得られていない施設に勤務する者、または施設としての同意は得られているが、認知症ケアに直接従事していない者を除外する。利用者は、研究期間中に早急な医学的治療を要する身体的または精神的症状を呈している者を除外する。早急な医学的治療を要する症状の有無については、施設の看護師、施設医または主治医等による医学的判断に基づく情報を確認し、研究分担者が施設職員と協議した上で研究参加の可否を判断する。 【第二研究（予備研究・本研究）】 研究参加について本人の同意が得られない者を除外する。また、本研究では、施設長から研究参加の同意が得られていない施設に勤務する職員、または施設としての同意は得られているが、認知症ケアや行動コンサルテーション内容の共有に直接関与しない職員を除外する。 |
[Study 1] Staff members will be excluded if they work at a long-term care facility for which the facility director has not provided consent for participation in this study, or if they are not directly involved in dementia care, even when institutional consent has been obtained. Participants with dementia will be excluded if they present physical or psychiatric conditions requiring immediate medical treatment during the study period. The presence of such conditions will be determined based on medical information provided by the facility nurse, facility physician, attending physician, or other healthcare professionals. The final decision regarding study participation will be made by the co-investigator in consultation with the facility staff. [Study 2 (Pilot Study and Main Study)] Individuals who do not provide informed consent to participate in the study will be excluded. In the main study, staff members will also be excluded if they work at a long-term care facility for which the facility director has not provided consent for participation in this study, or if they are not directly involved in dementia care or in sharing the intervention plan developed through behavioral consultation, even when institutional consent has been obtained. |
