Efficacy of a prolactin-supplemented hyaluronan-rich medium for single vitrified-warmed blastocyst transfer: a double-blind randomized controlled trial

Assessment of the Clinical Efficacy of High-Concentration Hyaluronic Acid-Containing Culture Medium During Embryo Transfer
Cases in which a vitrified-warmed blastocyst transfer was performed at our institution, after the warmed blastocyst had been cultured in a hyaluronan-rich medium or a prolactin-supplemented hyaluronan-rich medium prior to transfer.
Test group: Thaweded blastocysts (with partial zona pellucida removal, approx 1/3) are cultured in a prolactin-supplemented hyaluronan-rich medium (EmbryoGlue PRO, Vitrolife) at 37 degrees C and 6% CO2 for at least 2 hours (recommended 2-6 hours) until transfer. Comparator group: a prolactin-free hyaluronan-rich medium (EmbryoGlue, Vitrolife) is used with the same procedure. Allocation ratio 1:1, double-blind.
