Corti et al., (2009)は、ASD児を育てる親を対象に、ACTとPTを受ける群と週20時間のABAトレーニング（短期集中行動介入（EIBI））のみを受ける群を比較して親の心理的変化について調査した。
その結果、ACT＋PT群の方が、EIBI群よりも育児ストレスが減少する傾向が見られた一方で、ACTに関連する心理的変数の変化が見られなかったことが限界としてあげられた。この要因として、ACTは、問題から目を背けずに向き合うといった特徴があり、即時的な効果を示すというよりは、介入後長期に渡り効果を示すものであるという点と、ACTに関連する概念は、尺度として測定することが困難である可能性があると考察している。
そこで、本研究では、親に対してACT＋PTを行い、親の質的なデータも解析の対象とすることとした。さらに、6ヵ月～12か月に渡り査定を行うことで、長期的な効果を検討すること

２　臨床研究の目的及び内容並びにこれに用いる医薬品等の概要

（１）臨床研究の目的及び内容

子どもとの関係に苦慮している親とその子ども。子どもの年齢は1歳半～13歳未満であること。自閉スペクトラム症（ASD）の診断の有無を問わないが、子どもの特徴に関して心理検査やADOS-2等の評価ツールを用いてアセスメントすることに同意が得られる方。プログラム参加前、参加後、3ヶ月後および6ヶ月後、12ヶ月後のフォローアッププログラム時の計5回のアンケートに回答にご協力いただける方。 Parents and their children who are struggling with their relationship with their children. The child must be between 1.5 and 13 years of age. The child may or may not have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but must be able to consent to an assessment using psychological testing and assessment tools such as the ADOS-2 regarding the child's characteristics. Be willing to fill out and complete a total of 5 questionnaires before, after, 3 months, and at 6 and 12 months of follow-up program participation.

・プログラム中の動画撮影に同意いただけない方。（全体を撮影するため、単独で撮影を除外することができない。）
