Participants will receive cognitive-motor dual-task training using a cycle ergometer in addition to usual rehabilitation. The intervention consists of pedaling on a cycle ergometer while simultaneously performing cognitive tasks, such as serial subtraction or Stroop tasks. Exercise intensity will be set at a comfortable level, targeting approximately 3 on the modified Borg scale. Exercise workload and cognitive task difficulty will be adjusted according to each participant's performance and fatigue. Each session will last 15 minutes, three times per week for four weeks (12 sessions in total). |

dual-task walking speed (m/s) Walking speed will be measured during a walking test performed concurrently with a cognitive task. Assessments will be conducted at baseline and after 4 weeks. Changes in dual-task walking speed will be compared between the intervention and control groups. |

| All data and information obtained in this study will be used solely for the purposes of this research and will be appropriately managed by the principal investigator and authorized co-investigators. Each participant will be assigned a unique study identification number (study ID). Personally identifiable information, including names and patient identification numbers, will be managed separately from research data. The correspondence list linking study IDs to personal information, as well as paper-based research records, will be stored in a locked cabinet in the Rehabilitation Department of Nerima Hikarigaoka Hospital. Electronic data will be stored in access-restricted folders on hospital computers, with appropriate access controls implemented. For research supervision and statistical analysis, de-identified datasets or analysis results may be shared with academic supervisors at the Graduate School of Health Sciences, Hirosaki University, as necessary. The information shared will be limited to what is necessary for the research and will be transferred securely in accordance with the information management policies of both institutions. The correspondence list linking study IDs to personal information will not be transferred outside the hospital. Research records and electronic data will be retained for 10 years after publication of the research findings. Upon expiration of the retention period, paper-based records will be destroyed using a shredder, and electronic data will be permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery. Co-investigators who have received shared data will also be requested to delete the data appropriately after the retention period, and completion of data disposal will be confirmed. |
