In the elderly group, the times to reappearance of PTC1, TOF1, and TOF2 were significantly prolonged compared with the young group. However, there were no significant differences in plasma concentrations of rocuronium or remimazolam between the elderly and young groups.

In the elderly group, the times to reappearance of PTC1, TOF1, and TOF2 were significantly prolonged compared with the young group. However, there were no significant differences in plasma concentrations of rocuronium or remimazolam between the elderly and young groups. In elderly patients, the prolonged neuromuscular blocking effect is considered to be due to reduced clearance of rocuronium.
